Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, 

Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten recipes – 

While I nodded, nearly napping (because it was 1AM on a weeknight and really I should have gone to bed), suddenly there came a tapping,

As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my mental door. 

“It is time to make lemon buns,” I said, to no one in particular, “and nothing more.”
